1) Coordinator
The majority of the present delegations suggests that Belgium would take care of the coordination. Luc Borgions is willing to fullfill this task, with the assistance of the other countries.
2) Objectives of the project • to stimulate our students’ creativity using modern methods of teaching based on the common European experience • to establish the connection between the objectivism of ideas and positive thinking to our students • to develop abilities and aptitudes for questioning and for ambiguity tolerance organizing inter-curricular as well as extra-curricular activities • to investigate the connection between creativity and creation as well as originality and opportunity • to use the last innovation in the IT field for promoting the introverted, interrogative and investigative spirit of our students
3) Planned actions
* Website (www.comeniusmsk.be) Luc Borgions (Belgium) creates a website with general information on the project, portfolio, mail adresses of participants and students, calendar, reports, photo’s, links to school sites,….
* Questionnaire A questionnaire for both teachers and students will be developped in order to find out what expectations/difficulties/needs they eventually encounter in the scope of the objectives of our project. Each participating country provides the coordinator 5 questions for teachers and 5 questions for students (before 20/12/2009). (Multiple choice questions with 5 closed answers to be put on scale). The coordinator integrates these questions into a uniform questionnaire that will be handed to the entire staff of teachers and to a group of approx. 200 students aged 15 (January 2010). The results are returned to the coordinator in an Excel file at the beginning of March, to be worked out and discussed during the next meeting.
* Mailing students A list of email adresses will be collected by the coordinator and published on the website. This to enable students to communicate with foreign students in order to practice their languages and to exchange culture and habits. The coordinator will provide all participants a template Excel list ( name – age – sex – nationality – spoken language(s) – interests and email-adress) to be returned completed as soon as possible.
