1) Running actions

 

  • Website:
    The website is finished and regularly updated.

  • Evolution in teaching :
    discussion results questionnaire teachers and students.
    As the coordinator did not receive all filled questionnaires in time, the results will be worked out and evaluated during next meeting.

  • Mailing students : follow up.
    A long list of students is available on the website for them to be able to communicate with each other. It seems some students communicated via mail at first, but then afterwards changed Facebook dates.
    To encourage them communicating by e-mail, it  would maybe be preferable to include teacher’s monitoring of this mailing in language courses (giving them targeted subjects, for example about how they  experience their school time,  if they consider it to be in accordance with their ideas of well being, how they think it could/should be increased…).
    As the school year is running to its end, this point will be worked out more deeply at the beginning of next school year (end of September, beginning of October). Mailing lists will than be updated with new students.


2) Preparation and discussion further planned actions

 

  • Task based projects for students

    Targeted age: 15
    Task : power point presentation
    Subject : “My school” : the students present their school to foreign students (concrete points are taken into account to be able to make a comparison: infrastructure, equipment, teachers, type of courses, projects, extra curricula activities, student’s involvement in the school,…).
    Time table: end of October (to be presented during next meeting in Sevilla).

 

  • Video conference

    A group of students and a group of teachers per school will participate (separately).
    A list of specific questions will be prepared (during next meeting).
    Topics: wellbeing – involvement – creativity.
    Date : November (exact date and hour to be specified during next meeting).

  • Exhibition

    Each participant makes an exhibition about the project (meetings, activities,…) in his school.
    All material is sent to the co-ordinator to be added to the website.


3) Next meetings

- October 25 – 29 2010 in Seville.
- 3rd week of April 2011 in Paris.
